At the end of the term:

• Perform ALL backup options (Backup, Alternate Backup, External Backup).
• Turn off and unplug all computers that do not have a UNinterruptible Power Supply connected.

As most schools have staff development days/pupil free days at the beginning of each term it is a good idea to use these days for database maintenance.

• Upload All Records to your web catalogue (if you have one).
• Check for software upgrades on the LibCode website.
• Check for Newsletters on the LibCode website.
• Update borrower information using Synchronise Borrowers.
